At Metafile, we constantly read articles from both industry-specific outlets to national business and technology-focused media to keep ourselves informed, but we especially love reading about businesses and industries that have seen major success withMicrosoft Dynamics solutions.
Recently, we came across an article in Forbes that we found fascinating. The article, entitled, “Meeting the Business Challenges of the Government,” was written by Laura Ipsen who is the Corporate VP, Worldwide Public Sector at Microsoft. Her article looks at similarities between business and government organizations, noting that businesses aim to identify which technology solutions will help them do more with less and “new” with less so that they can compete and succeed, and that the government sector is no different.
Ipsen goes on to explain how Microsoft Dynamics has helped several government organizations drive innovations, increase agility and realize their full potential. There’s a great example of how Delhi Integrated Multi-Modal Transit System Ltd (DIMTS) – which coordinates and contributes to the mobility of Delhi’s more than 16.3 million people – was able to re-engineer and consolidate their internal processes with Microsoft Dynamics AX to make them faster and able to deliver greater value to the many public transport projects across Delhi and the citizens who need them.
We love hearing how great solutions like Microsoft Dynamics are helping businesses of all sizes and across all sectors – even large governmental organizations across the world – streamline their processes and enable them to focus on larger and more important projects. What has Microsoft Dynamics allowed you to do? We want to hear about it in the comments section!
