Today’s workforce is becoming a remote one. More and more companies are transitioning their employees to remote workers, allowing them to save money on office space and equipment, as well as expand their hiring to a wider group of prospects.
Merriam-Webster defines the word amplify as, "to make larger or greater" and "to increase the strength or amount of."
These days, everything is in the cloud. Your music, photos, contacts, even your famous family recipes can be stored in the ambiguous-sounding cloud. It’s a comfort knowing that cloud storage is virtually unlimited and often more secure than storing information on your computer’s hard drive or company server. With that in mind, our prediction is that we will see more people adopting cloud-based AP automation instead of installed or on-premise systems.

When you’re working with technology, it seems that the weather is always “cloudy.” We don’t mean gloomy—we mean that, these days, everyone in IT is talking about the cloud, how you can be in it and what you can do with it.
Last month, I authored an article for MSDynamics World entitled “Gartner’s 2014 Trends – What Microsoft Dynamics Users Should Know.” Gartner recently released its list of the top 10 strategic technology trends for 2014. From that list, there were a few that I felt should be further examined by enterprises that have or are considering implementing Microsoft Dynamics along with an integrated accounts payable/accounts receivable workflow automation solution, such as MetaViewer. One of those trends was ‘The Internet of Everything’ and understanding that as technology continues to advance, the internet is no longer just accessible by PCs and mobile devices.
